The power and importance of purposeful practise
“Purposeful practise is not only about concentration and dedication – although important, these alone are not sufficient to achieve true excellence.
You need to have access to the right training systems, facilities and the right coach.”
- Stu Jacobs
Kaizen 4 Kids is broken down into three smaller age groups to help kids with their skill development, ball contact and confidence all through fun games and matches.
Players will learn during this phase about physical and technical aspects of the game as well as warm ups, cooling down, nutrition, rest and recovery etc.
Aerobic and anaerobic systems become fully developed and can be trained accordingly. Body-weight strength training and over-all strength development will be optimized during this phase.
Technical, tactical, and psycological skills are key to the athlete's preformance.
Here people are trained to compete (VUS).
Stu Jacobs, former New Zealand Olympic team coach, is the leader and founder of Kaizen Football.
The Kaizen Football Academies were founded to produce World Class Players.
In the pursuit of this goal, the Kaizen Football Academies operate around five key cornerstones.

a 'Technical' component and a 'Strength & Conditioning' component.
Learning how to compete in all the components - technical, tactical, and physiological are key to the athlete's over-all performance.
Strength & conditioning will concentrate on learning basic exercise technique, footwork for speed, core conditioning, and agility drills.
